D-Trimannuronic acid, an alginate oligomer is extracted from seaweed. D-Trimannuronic acid can induce TNF‐α secretion by mouse macrophage cell lines. D-Trimannuronic acid can be used for the research of pain and vascular dementia[1][2][3].
