Teclistamab is a human bispecific antibody to BCMA and CD3 that recognizes BCMA on target cells and CD3 on T cells and induces T cell-mediated cytotoxicity leading to T cell activation and subsequent target cell lysis. Teclistamab can be used in studies of diseases related to multiple myeloma (MM).
Teclistamab (0.01-1000 nM, 48 h) induces T cell–mediated cytotoxicity with the EC50 values of 0.15 nM in H929 cells, 0.06 nM in MM.1R cell lines, and 0.45 nM in RPMI 8226 cell lines, respectively[1]. Teclistamab (0.01-1000 nM, 48 h) can bind CD138 + human BM monocytes in a dose-dependent manner and induces cytotoxicity of human BM monocytes[1].
Teclistamab (i.v., 0.1-1 μg, once every 2 days) has anti-tumor activity at high doses in female NSG (NOD/SCID/γc−/−) mice with H929 cells model[1].
