(–)-Syringaresinol di-O-glucoside is a phenolic glucoside that has been found in D. aurantiacum and has neuroprotective activity.1 It reduces neurotoxicity induced by glutamate by 19.3% in PC12 cells when used at a concentration of 10 ?M.
