AN2718 is a benzoxaborole compound that displays broad antifungal effectiveness in vitro.¹ It inhibits leucyl-tRNA synthetase (LeuRS) from molds and yeasts (IC₅₀s = 2 and 4.2 ?M for A. fumigatus and C. albicans LeuRS, respectively), blocking protein synthesis.¹
