WYneN is a chemoselective probe for the detection of sulfenylated proteins in live cells.1 It is selective for sulfenylated proteins over 5,5′-dithiobis-(2-nitrobenzoic acid) (DTNB) and 4,4′-dipyridyl disulfide (4-DPS). WYneN binds to sulfenylated proteins in live cells and can then be conjugated to azide-containing fluorescent probes for detection.
