SPI 112 is cell-impermeable inhibitor of Src homology region 2 domain-containing phosphatase 2 (SHP-2) in cell-free assays (IC50 = 1 μM).1 It selectively inhibits SHP-2 over SHP-1 and protein tyrosine phosphatase 1B (PTP1B; IC50s = 18.3 and 14.5 μM, respectively).
