(R)-HTS-3 is an inhibitor of lysophosphatidylcholine acyltransferase 3 (LPCAT3; IC50 = 0.09 µM), an enzyme involved in the synthesis of C20:4-containing phospholipids.1 It reduces the incorporation of arachidonic acid-d8 into phospholipids when used at concentrations of 1, 3, and 10 µM. (R)-HTS-3 (10 µM) reduces RSL3-induced ferroptosis in HT-1080 and 786-O cancer cells.
