N8-Acetylspermidine is an endogenous polyamine.1,2,3 Urinary levels of N8-acetylspermidine are increased in patients with chronic pancreatitis.1 Blood levels of N8-acetylspermidine are increased in patients with ischemic cardiomyopathy, as well as in patients with Parkinson’s disease.2,3
