Myristelaidic acid is a 14-carbon monounsaturated ω-5 long-chain fatty acid. It is the trans isomer of myristoleic acid . Myristelaidic acid is converted to myristelaidoyl CoA at a faster rate than myristoleic acid to myristoleoyl CoA.
