1-Myristoyl-2-hydroxy-sn-glycero-3-PC is a saturated 14:0 lysophosphatidylcholine that consists of one chain of myristic acid at the sn-1 position. It is formed in plasma by lecithin:cholesterol acyltransferase (LCAT) and has a role in lipid signaling by acting on lysophospholipid receptors.1
