Lyciumin A, a cyclic octapeptide, exhibits inhibitory activity on proteases, angiotensin-converting enzyme. Lyciumin A can be used for the research of pertension[1][2].
Lyciumin A inhibits renin activities by 19.4% (40 μg/mL).
