Lubeluzole (didrochloride) is a neuroprotective agent which blockades neuronal voltage-gated sodium channels. Lubeluzole (didrochloride) also produces both tonic and block of cardiac sodium channels. Lubeluzole (didrochloride) is promising for research of antiarrthmic agents.
