Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity
Specificactivity is > 40 units/mg, and is defined as the amount of enzyme thatconvert 1.0 umole of glyceraldehyde-3-phosphate to 1,3-Bisphosphoglycerate perminute at pH 8.5 at 37C.
Formulation
GAPDH protein solution (0.25mg/ml) containing Phosphate buffered saline (pH7.4), 20% glycerol and 1mM DTT.
