19-alkyne Cholesterol is an alkyne derivative of cholesterol .1 It has been used to track cholesterol localization and subcellular distribution in NIH3T3 cells and to study the role of cholesterol in hedgehog (Hh) signal transduction in Shh-LIGHT2 cells using click chemistry and various reporter azides.
