Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity
Measured in a cytotoxicity assay using L929 mouse fibrosarcoma cells in the presence of the metabolic inhibitor actinomycin D.The ED50 for this effect is ≤ to 0.2 ng/ml.
Formulation
TNFA Rat protein solution (1mg/ml) contains Phosphate Buffered Saline (pH 7.4), 10% glycerol and 1mM DTT.
