Thiazole Orange is an asymmetrical cyanine dye belonging to the nucleic acid fluorescent dye family. Thiazole Orange exhibits a significant fluorescence enhancement effect upon binding to nucleic acids, particularly RNA, a property that makes Thiazole Orange widely applicable in biomolecular detection[1]. Thiazole Orange is capable of penetrating the membrane of living cells and demonstrates a high quantum yield upon nucleic acid binding. Thiazole Orange maximum excitation wavelength (λex) is approximately 510nm (with strong excitation also at 488nm and 470nm), and Thiazole Orange maximum emission wavelength (λem) is approximately 527nm[2].

其最大激发波长(λex)约为510nm(在488nm和470nm处也有强激发),最大发射波长(λem)约为527nm[2]。
