PtdIns-(1-palmitoyl-d9, 2-palmitoyl) is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of PtdIns-(1,2-dipalmitoyl) by GC- or LC-MS. PtdIns-(1,2-dipalmitoyl) is a derivative of phosphatidylinositol (PtdIns) that contains C16:0 fatty acyl chains at the sn-1 and sn-2 positions.
