Metalaxyl-M ((R)-Metalaxyl) is the active (R)-enantiomer of Metalaxyl. Metalaxyl-M is a broad-spectrum fungicide that inhibits protein and ribosomal RNA synthesis infungi. Metalaxyl is used for research of plant diseases caused by pathogens of the Oomycota division.
