Solubility
It is recommended to reconstitute the lyophilizedIL-2 in sterile PBS containing 0.1% endotoxin-free recombinant HSA.
Stability
LyophilizedIL-2 although stable at room temperature for 3 weeks, should be stored desiccated below -18°C . Upon reconstitution IL2 should be stored at 4°C between 2-7 days and for future use below -18°C .For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Biological Activity
The specific activity as determined by the dose-dependent stimulation of the proliferation of mouse CTLL-2 cells (mouse cytotoxic T cell line) was measured to be 1.57ng/ml.
Formulation
The IL2 was lyophilized from 0.2µm filtered solution containing 0.76mg/ml protein in 1xPBS.
