Interferon-a 2b Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated, polypeptide chain containing 165 amino acids and having a molecular mass of 19269 Dalton. The PegylatedIFN-a 2b is produced by attaching a 20kDa mPEG-aldehyde to the N-terminal IFN alpha-2b. Interferon-a 2b is purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
