Hexacosanoic acid methyl ester-d3 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of hexacosanoic acid methyl ester by GC- or LC-MS. Hexacosanoic acid methyl ester is a fatty acid methyl ester. It has been used as a standard for the detection of hexacosanoic acid in beeswax.1
