GPDA (GPN) is the substrate for detecting glycylproline dipeptidyl aminopeptidase. GPDA (GPN) can be hydrolyzed by the corresponding enzyme, producing yellow p-nitroaniline. By monitoring the change in absorbance at 405nm, enzyme activity can be quantified[1].
