Histone H3K36Me3 (26-46)-K-biotin is a peptide fragment of histone H3 that contains a serine-to-alanine substitution at position 29 and corresponds to amino acid residues 27-47 of the human histone H3.1 and H3.2 sequences. It is trimethylated at lysine 36 and biotinylated via a C-terminal lysine linker. Histone H3K36Me3 (26-46)-K-biotin corresponds directly to amino acid residues 27-47 of the yeast H3.1 sequence in S. octosporus and S. pombe and of the plant pathogenic fungus histone sequence in P. striiformis.
