Cytidine 5’-monophosphate (CMP) is a pyrimidine nucleotide.1 It is used in the synthesis of RNA and can be further phosphorylated to form cytidine 5’-diphosphate (CDP) and cytidine 5’-triphosphate (CTP). CMP is also an intermediate in the synthesis of phospholipids.
