Stability
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA).Please avoid freeze thaw cycles.
Biological Activity
The ED50 as determined by thymidine uptake assay using FGF-receptors transfected BaF3 cells is less than 0.5ng/ml, corresponding to a specific activity of > 2.0 б┴ 106 IU/mg.
Formulation
FGF-16 0.2µm filtered solution containing 20mM Tris-HCl, 1M NaCl, pH 9.0, 0.2% Tween-20 and 10% Glycerol.
