Faldaprevir-d6 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of faldaprevir by GC- or LC-MS. Faldaprevir is an inhibitor of hepatitis C virus (HCV) non-structural protease 3/4A (NS3/4A; IC50 = 3 nM for the HCV genotype 1b enzyme).1 It inhibits genotype 1a and 1b HCV RNA replication in replicon assays (EC50s = 6.5 and 3.1 nM, respectively).2
