ELN484228 is an inhibitor of α-synuclein-induced toxicity.1 It prevents inhibition of phagocytosis induced by overexpression of α-synuclein in H4 neuroglioma cells when used at concentrations of 30, 100, and 300 ?M. ELN484228 (10 ?M) protects dopaminergic neurons from cell death and neurite retraction induced by A53T mutant α-synuclein in a rat midbrain culture model of Parkinson’s disease.
