CY5-N3 is a functional fluorescent probe that combines the Cyanine5 dye with an azido group (ex/em=646/662nm). CY5-N3 can specifically and covalently link to alkyne-bearing compounds via a click chemistry reaction, enabling efficient fluorescent labeling of biomolecules. CY5-N3 is used in biological imaging, molecular labeling and tracking, drug screening and development, and related fields[1-4].
