Chymotrypsin substrate I, colorimetric is a colorimetric substrate for chymotrypsin.1 Chymotrypsin binds and hydrolyzes chymotrypsin substrate I, colorimetric to release p-nitroanilide (pNA), which can be quantified by colorimetric detection at 405 nm as a measure of chymotrypsin activity.
