Chroman 1 is an inhibitor of Rho-associated kinase 2 (ROCK2; IC50 = <1 nM).1 It is selective for ROCK2 over protein kinase A (PKA) and Cdc42-binding kinase (MRCKα; IC50s = 1,740 and 127 nM, respectively). Chroman 1 inhibits phosphorylation of myosin light chain (MLC) in a cell-based assay (IC50 = <4 nM).
