Thrombin-sensitive peptide is a synthetic peptide that contains a thrombin-releasable quencher.1 It has been conjugated to an anti-CD41 antibody via click chemistry for use as a platelet-targeting sensor in a microfluidic model of thrombosis and a mouse model of thrombosis to detect increases in fluorescence, which indicate increased thrombin activity.
