Tat-CBD3A6K is a peptide and derivative of the N-type voltage-gated calcium channel Cav2.2 and collapsin response mediator protein 2 (CRMP2) protein-protein interaction inhibitor Tat-CBD3 .1,2 Tat-CBD3A6K (10 mg/kg) prevents decreases in the paw withdrawal threshold in a rat model of antiretroviral neuropathic pain induced by d4T and decreases the number of action potentials from dorsal root ganglia (DRG) neurons isolated from the same rats.1 Dural administration of Tat-CBD3A6K (30 µM/animal) decreases meningeal blood flow induced by the terpene alkaloid capsaicin in rats.2
