SGF29-IN-1 (Compound Cpd_DC60) is a selective inhibitor for Spt-Ada-Gcn5 acetyltransferase (SAGA)–associated factor 29 (SGF29)-Tudor domain. SGF29-IN-1 exhibits activity against leukemia.
SGF29-IN-1 (20 μM) inhibits Tudor domain of SGF29, blocks acetylation of H3K9 in SGF29-dependent leukemia cells MOLM13 and MV4-11[1].
SGF29-IN-1 (5 mg/kg, i.p. every other day for 35 days) inhibits leukemia progression without significant toxicity in CD45 mice[1].
