(R)-Merimepodib is the isomer of Merimepodib , and can be used as an experimental control. Merimepodib (VX-497) is a noncompetitive and oral inhibitor of inosine monophosphate dehydrogenase (IMPDH) with broad spectrum antiviral activities.
