Quercetin 3-O-(6''-O-malonyl)-β-D-glucoside is a flavonol glycoside derivative and an acylated glycoside of quercetin[1]. Quercetin 3-O-(6''-O-malonyl)-β-D-glucoside has excellent antioxidant activity in a cell-free environment, but does not exert the same protective effect in biological systems[2, 3]. Quercetin 3-O-(6''-O-malonyl)-β-D-glucoside is mainly found in leguminous plants (such as soybeans and alfalfa) and some medicinal plants[4].
