Promethazine-d3 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of promethazine by GC- or LC-MS. Promethazine is categorized as a phenothiazine.[1] It has been associated with misuse in conjunction with opioids or sedatives.[1],[2] Formulations containing promethazine have been used in the treatment of various allergy-related conditions, anesthesia- or surgery-related nausea and vomiting, and to induce sedation. This product is intended for research and forensic applications.
