Polysarcosine20 is an amine-functionalized hydrophilic polymer.1 Addition of polysarcosine20 to surface-grafted polymer brushes reduces protein absorption and mammalian and bacterial cell attachment, indicating potential use as an antifouling agent. Surface modification of liposomes with polysarcosine polymers between 10 and 100 units long have been used to increase circulation half-life.2,3
