Phenaglycodol belongs to the group of butanediolsa with anxiolytic and anticonvulsant porperties. Phenaglycodol has orally bioactivity.
Phenaglycodol (20 mg/kg, i.p.,1 time ) has antiepileptic activity in cat[1].
Phenaglycodol (55-80 mg/kg, i.p., 1 time) has antiepileptic activity in mice[1].
Phenaglycodol (50-100 mg/kg, i.g., 1 time) has antiepileptic activity in monkey[1].
Phenaglycodol (130mg/kg, i.p., 1 time) lowers the concentration of Meprobamate in serum and brain[2].
