para-methoxy-2-amino-Benzamidoxime (PMA) is a fluorescent and reactive probe for ketones.[1] Upon binding to ketones, PMA displays excitation/emission maxima of 389 and 515 nm, respectively. It has been used in the detection of alcohol dehydrogenases (ADHs), which convert alcohols to ketones.
