Orexin A (17-33) is a truncated form of orexin A and peptide orexin receptor 1 (OX1R) agonist.1 It selectively induces calcium mobilization in CHO cells overexpressing human OX1R over CHO cells overexpressing human OX2R (EC50s = 8.29 and 187 nM, respectively).
