Nonadecanoyl-L-carnitine-d3 is intended for use as an internal standard for the quantification of nonadecanoyl-L-carnitine by GC- or LC-MS. Nonadecanoyl-L-carnitine is a long-chain acylcarnitine composed of nonadecanoic acid and L-carnitine . Serum levels of nonadecanoyl-L-carnitine are decreased in children and adolescents chronically exposed to industrial carcinogenic pollutants.1
