MHI-148 is a near-infrared heptamethine cyanine dye with tumor-targeting properties (excitation/emission wavelengths: 740/950nm). MHI-148 can be specifically taken up and accumulated in the lysosomes and mitochondria of tumor cells via a hypoxia-mediated mechanism. MHI-148 can be used for research related to tumor detection, diagnosis, and photodynamic therapy[1-4].
