Lipid 29d is an unsaturated ionizable cationic lipid that has been used in the generation of lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for the delivery of mRNA in vivo.1 Intravenous administration of LNPs containing lipid 29d and encapsulating mRNA encoding a luciferase reporter induce bioluminescence in the lungs and spleen of mice.
