Lipid 29 is an ionizable amino lipid (pKa = 6.91) that has been used in combination with other lipids in the formation of lipid nanoparticles.1 Administration of human erythropoietin (EPO) mRNA in lipid 29-containing lipid nanoparticles increases serum EPO levels in mice.
