L-742,001 is an inhibitor of influenza virus PA endonuclease (IC50 = 0.5 µM), an essential subdomain of the viral RNA polymerase.[1] It reduces viral titers in PR8 influenza-infected MDCK cells when used at a concentration of 10 µM.[2]
