KISS1-305 is a peptide agonist of the kisspeptin receptor.1 It induces calcium mobilization in a reporter assay using CHO cells expressing the kisspeptin receptor (EC50 = 2.6 nM for the human receptor). KISS1-305 reduces plasma levels of testosterone below the limit of detection in male rats. It increases the number of ovulated oocytes in horse chorionic gonadotropin-stimulated immature female rats when administered at a dose of 100 nmol/kg.2
