IZ-Chol is an ionizable cationic lipid (pKas = 7.29 and 3.96) containing cholesterol .[1] LNPs containing IZ-chol can be complexed with DNA, with the plasmid-binding efficacy dependent, in part, on the type of helper lipids in the LNP formulation.
