Isodeoxycholic Acid regulates bile acid synthesis, enterohepatic circulation, and energy metabolism, influencing the composition of the intestinal microbiome and inflammatory responses [2]. Isodeoxycholic Acid is primarily used to treat cholestasis, hepatobiliary diseases, and metabolic syndrome [3-4].
In CD4⁺T cells, Isodeoxycholic Acid (100μM; 3d) acts on dendritic cells, weakening their immunostimulatory properties and thereby enhancing the induction of Foxp3 [5].
