Heptacosanoic Acid is a kind of very long chain fatty acids which is an important component of lipid in most organisms [1]. The proportion of Heptacosanoic Acid in the erythrocyte of adrenoleukodystrophy (ALD) and adrenomyeloneuropathy (AMN) patients was higher and the aggregation of Heptacosanoic Acid increased the index of microviscosity of erythrocyte membranes [2].
