Golotimod is a synthetic dipeptide.[1] In vivo, golotimod (100 µg/kg per day) decreases the incidence of vaginal infection by herpes simplex virus 2 (HSV-2) and cumulative mean lesion scores in HSV-2-infected guinea pigs.
